Mexico City: The perfect Miami getaway


I’ve fallen in love… with Mexico City. It is, without a doubt, my favorite city. If you’ve been following my travels, you know I recently stopped in for a wedding. Now I can’t wait to go back. And in fact, I’m hoping to spend a lot more time there and get involved in the local real estate market. (So if you have any connections, let me know!)

What makes it so special for me is the fact that so many people — 23 million — can live side by side in so much style. It’s clean, it’s beautiful, the park system is vast, the food is delicious and the people are friendly. Plus, it’s just a short flight from Miami. ...Or maybe I’m just addicted to street tacos with Oaxaca cheese? Whatever the case, DF is my new home away from home.

 

And Finally... Snowboarding and family in Aspen

 

As I write this month’s newsletter, I’m in a plane flying back to Miami after five days in Aspen. It’s actually a very small plane, and I’m in the very last seat. But it doesn’t matter: Flying out of these mountains is breathtaking. I stayed with my brother, who lives about 10 minutes from the airport.

The weather’s been perfect, right in the mid-50s and blue skies. It’s now the end of season, so the mountain was slow but emptying out of tourists. So long, Colorado… back to the tropics!
