Book Recommendation: Pardonable Lies by Jacqueline Winspear

 

 Pardonable Lies (2005) is book number three in the Maisie Dobbs series by author Jacqueline Winspear. The time is 1930 and London investigator Maisie Dobbs takes on more cases in the aftermath of the Great War.
