It’s that time of year! The sun is shining and the days are long and all of a sudden our living spaces have extended outdoors. If you are wondering what you can do to spruce up your outdoor spaces, here are 5 steps you can take to makeover your curb appeal.

1. BRING ON THE COLOR

Whether its neutral or bold, you want the colors of your home to be cohesive. We are big fans of all white exteriors with a pop of color either on the front door or with some brightly colored chairs or accessories. 2. CLEAN IT UP

Cleaning up the yard is one of the most inexpensive things you can do to make a big impact on your curb appeal while hardly spending a thing! Trimming back hedges, touching up the trim and reviving any existing landscaping can make a very big impact on a very little budget.

3. DECORATE THE SPACE

Setting brightly colored chairs on the front porch, accessorizing with pots & planters and even adding a colorful rug can make a huge difference. Outdoor spaces tend to be overlooked when it comes to decorating, but oh what a difference it can make!
Make it useful – Rather than planting pots of flowers, consider potting some herbs or vegetables instead! Using patterned or colorful pots you can grow all kinds of vegetables in your front yard while still making a statement.  We recommend starting with lettuce or spinach along with some herbs like basil, dill or parsley.
