Last week I shared with you our first attempt at jumping into the world of video.
This week, I'm posting our second video for you to take a look at.
This one taught me a couple of things:
1)You can have a plan for what you're going to feature in your video, but it might not work out the way you thought it would. For example, this one started out with a focus on the class I was going to teach and then morphed into the facility because it was so cool and then, in editing, morphed into a backwards Seinfield look at how the day played out.
2)Being accurate in what you say is harder when you're doing video. At the end of this one I call the place by the wrong name. I could have fixed it, but didn't get that done prior to final editing. I will correct that in the Youtube comments section.
3)Shooting with an Iphone works pretty well. But you gotta pay attention to volume and remember to hold the phone sideways...at all times if possible.
4)What people see and hear in your video can be different from what you actually say and mean.
So here's our second video by the Haywood Home Team.
Take a look and, as always, let me know what you think.
Oh, and go shoot your own video!
It's really fun!
