Swimming pools in Colorado are kind of a rare thing. Most people don’t want to deal with the winter maintenance of swimming pools and the mild season only gives us about 5 months to really enjoy the convenience of our own swimming pool.

There are many folks moving to Colorado every day and many of those new arrivals are coming from hot, dry climates where they come to rely on having their own swimming pool for summer enjoyment.

Many planned communities have community swimming pools, but there are very few homes that actually have their very own in-ground private swimming pool.

Searching through the City of Centennial, there are 4 listings that have private swimming pools.

This home is located at 7566 S Telluride Ct the Chenango community and is listed for $2,475,000.

This home has been on the market since June 17th so it is hard to say whether or not this beautiful swimming pool is helping or hurting the sale of this gorgeous place.

No doubt there are some who are willing to put up with the maintenance in the winter to enjoy a few months in summer. Could be hard to give up having one if you are accustomed to it, but I could see that there might be limited demand That's certainly a beautiful property

Hi Belinda, I'm certain there will be a buyer who would love to have a pool regardless of the maintenance. In my area, most buyers would love to have a pool as we could use it pretty much all year.

Hi Belinda - You're right - while swimming pools aren't typically high on Colorado resident's wish lists, many of our imports come from places where they're much more common and desirable. And you know where to find pools for them - nice!

Hi Belinda -- with private swimming pools so rare in most of your markets, I imagine the expectation is that they may be more common in some of the higher end properties. The photo you share looks to be an especially nice home for those looking in that price range.
