Cardiff Dog Days of Summer Canine Festival & Contest 2016

Cardiff (a.k.a. Cardiff by the Sea) has the perfect solution to perk you and your weary owner up if you are both bored this August and looking for some fun.

The 2016 Dog Days of Summer Canine Festival and Contest

The always popular Summer event, Dog Days of Summer Festival , will be held in downtown Cardiff by the Sea (a.k.a. Cardiff) on Saturday August 13th from 10 am until 6:30 pm.

Cardiff Dog Days

2016 is the 11th Annual Dog Days of Summer Festival, now the largest and most popular canine-focused event in the San Diego area.

The Dog Days of Summer Festival in Cardiff could lure as many as 10,000 2 and 4-legged festival-goers, and as it is each year is sponsored by the Cardiff 101 Main Street Association.

The Dog Days of Summer canine festival and contest includes numerous vendors (featuring plentiful custom dog products and services), a Blessing of the Dogs, a doggie photo booth, pet adoptions, live music and food (Lost Abbey Beer Garden with 2 live bands), dog contests, and more. There’s sure to be lots of fun for you and your pooch, or even if you are dog-less.

And a special thank you to the Cardiff Animal Hospital and Wellness Center who is providing funds for artificial turf to protect all those doggie paws.

So stop on by, with your dog or not, and enjoy the Cardiff Dog Days of Summer Canine Festival and Dog Contest on August 13th in Cardiff-by-the-Sea.

How fun, we would enjoy that if it is anything like the annual SB used to have.

We used to have the annual dog parade in Santa Barbara. The first and only one we attended had Cesar Milan as the grand marshall. The dogs were in costumes, and my favorite was a dog dressed in a flamenco outfit..

Due to budget cuts, this parade no longer part of the SB festivities. Thanks for the pictures. A
