This process is invoked by the VA Appraiser when he is not finding comparable market data to support the purchase price of a transaction. The parties have 48 hours to supply data to the appraiser that supports the agreed upon purchase price.
You do not want to have this process invoked on your VA transaction as it indicates that the appraisal may well come in under the purchase price
