Getting Back to Business, Blogging for Business - An AR Challenge
No better way to get back into blogging than to jump into an AR contest! This is a good one that's not only very doable, but one that, if done right, should product some great, "make the phone ring" content.
It's Time to Get Back in the Groove
Summer is coming to an end, the kiddos have started back to school or will soon and it's time to refocus on business by putting your blogging to work for you. It is a fact that blogging for business works but consistency and content are important components to the business building process.
To help motivate the ActiveRain membership to dig in and write some good business generating posts, we are going to bait you with a bucketload of points, 3000 big ones.
It will take some time and effort to write rich content posts focused on business topics but the payoff will be worth it. These type of posts (when made Public) get seen and may turn into your next sale or client. The long time result means your business will grow and you will get business you would not have otherwise. We firmly believe this to be true and ActiveRain members continue to share their success stories from their blogging efforts.
Here's the catch...Write a business post, one per day for 20 days in September and publish on your ActiveRain Blog. See we realize you may need a day off here or there so we are giving you 10 days to take it easy if you choose. To get ahead of the curve, try scheduling some of your posts to publish automatically on the scheduler. This is one of those features that is underused but has real value for time management.
For this contest the topics are to be purely business centric (your business). Here are some examples of the types of posts that will work for this challenge.
- Neighborhood posts
- FAQ posts
- HOA info and neighborhood features
- Lessons learned in your business
- Advice about your industry
- Changes in the industry
- Personal stories relating to your field of business
- Trends in the marketplace
- Opinions about what is happening in the industry
- Products or practices that help you do your job better
- Tips you want to share with your fellow professionals
- Advice for buyers and sellers
You get the drift. These posts may include photos, grafts and relative links to make them better and rich in content. Jokes, wordless posts, quotes and posts under 150 words do not qualify for this challenge. Make the posts meaningful so you will build some future business and make your blogging pay off for you. Share on your social media channels, too.
Everyone that completes the Blogging for Business Challenge will be rewarded with 3000 bonus points. When you have completed the challenge, post a comment in the comment thread below indicating that you have completed the challenge. Remember it takes a minimum of 20 days of posting so it will be impossible to say you are finished until the 20th or after. Sometime in October your will get your extra points but not promising exactly when. Remember this is on the honor system and we will not be checking each of your posts. I am vouching for you guys and trust you!
