4th Quarter Review - Celebration Time!!!
The year is coming to an end in a few months. Now is the time to wrap up the year strong and plan for 2017.
Look at your goals for the year. Are you in line to meet them? If not, why not? If so, what worked well to keep you on track.
What will you do more of next year? What will you do less of next year?
Start planning now. December 31 will be here before you know it. Get on top of your game now! Be proactive and set serious goals for 2017.

Well, like many of us I can't believe it's almost the end of October! This year has flown by faster than the speed of light, or so it seems. It's been a very good year so far and we expect our market to hold strong until almost right up to the holidays in December. Our market is not like 'winter' markets up north where it's cold and stormy and listings dry up. In fact it's the opposite. Our fantastic weather brings people out in droves! Sellers are preparing to get their homes listed this next few months. We're working with 6 or so sellers at this time. We've also got buyers in town and a number of referrals that are on the books for November and December. Our numbers are up from last year and we're happy about that! All in all it's busy but not so busy it's crazy! And that's our business model.
One of my focus goals this year was to get back to hiking in the mornings, after it cooled down into the 70's. My life and business runs so much smoother when I take the time to just chill out and be in nature. I typically hike 3 to 4+ miles at least 5 days a week. At this point I'm still not going up the big mountain but my goal is to be hiking up it by Thanksgiving. I had to rebuilt my strength and stamina after dealing with issue of a broken foot that took forever to heal. There are days when I'm not so enthusiastic about getting up so early but I do it anyway because I know I will feel better once I put on some tunes and kick some serious butt around the preserve.
What Are We Celebrating?
Last month we were sitting around pool side thinking about business and talking about all the big changes and shifts we have made over the years. It hit both Gary and I at the same time - OMG - we opened our own real estate company 10 years ago! We made it through the worst market ever and we're back on top, thankfully. When we first opened 10 years ago we had a huge GRAND OPENING with about 80+ in attendance. That was the fall of 2006. So much has gone on since then....
In early November we are hosting our 10 Year Business Anniversary Celebration for our clients and business associates. It's exciting! Email evites have gone out already and printed invites will be mailed out tomorrow. RSVP's are flying in! Did I mention it's exciting!! Here is a screen shot of the invite (front and back)!
