Dealing with a difficult agent is like getting sacked! Oooooof!
Wanda, consistently has so many great posts and most importantly is terrific about sharing it to us Rainers and beyond. This article has new & exciting information for all the readers to take advantage from. I, myself will be anxious to learn from it! So many times I write blogs and really don't think that it gets the impact that it should. So I love to see re-blogs of popular posts. Thanks again for sharing.
Dealing with a difficult agent is like getting sacked! Oooooof!
You see it coming. Nothing you can do except brace for impact. To avoid getting blindsided by aggressive tactics, stay within the four corners of the Real Estate Purchase Contract. You can successfully accomplish the goals set forth.
Along with this advice you must:
- Keep a sense of humor. Laugh it off! Remember this type of person taunts everyone. Avoid taking it personal or to heart.
- Maintain professionalism. Let the other party show poor behavior in their decisions. Stay true to your own rule book.
- Respond in a timely manner. Answer the phone, reply back promptly. Text or send email messages if necessary.
It is important to be aware of overly aggressive people who like to push and shove their way through a transaction. More often than not, using intimidation to get a point across.
Thankfully, there are agents who respect the process, knowing it takes an entire team to get to a desirable end result for buyers and sellers, instead of making it a one-person show of who can out do who.
Happy sales all and hike...hike...O-M-A-H-A!
