This week’s report on home values for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Mission Viejo Realtor Tim Lorenz. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 4.7 percent, for new homes up 4.5 percent and for resale condos up 3.4 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 20.2 percent and up 17.5 percent on condos and up 30.7 percent for new homes.
•Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 3.0 percent and the sales volume is up 28.9 percent.
•Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are up 19.3 percent and the sales volume is down 4.6 percent.
•Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are down 4.9 percent and the sales volume is up 25.9 percent.
•Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices down 10.8 percent and the sales volume is down 2.4 percent.
•Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are down 0.6 percent and the sales volume up 68.3 percent.
•San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 17.9 percent and the sales volume is up 2.7 percent.
•San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are down 2.4 percent and the sales volume is down 2.6 percent.
We went through the after Christmas week and out the other side with every metric up for the county. Individual areas we see changes but again it is hard to predict off that week. Here is to a great 2017.
