Kohleria is a colorful plant that you may wish to grow in your home or in your garden. I took this photograph at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA.

Kohleria is a New World genus of the flowering plant family Gesneriaceae. The plants are generally tropical herbs or subshrubs with velvety stems and foliage and brightly colored flowers with spots or markings in contrasting colors. Wikipedia

Hi Roy... well, I grow nothing in my garden, but this is a beautiful plant and if I did plant in my garden, I'd seriously consider it.

Roy, never seen or heard of this plant, and it is gorgeous, and would sure add color to a flower garden.

We have a red sky in Maryland this morning and a winter storm warning is posted for tonight and Tuesday. Today is the time for residents to prepare for heavy snow conditions for a couple of days. The cold weather may also impact the cherry blossoms on the area.
