I took my twelve year old grandson to get a haircut yesterday.
He is a talkative child, and my hairdresser wanted to hear about his school and teachers. She asked him about his favorite teachers and he named a couple.
She then asked him about his least favorite teachers. He thought a minute, then said that he couldn’t think of any.
I was so proud of his positive attitude. So proud that at his age when a lot of kids are negative toward school and teachers, that he couldn’t think of any ‘least favorite teachers.’
We older folks need to forget about our least favorite clients and associates (if we are obsessing over them and letting them take over our thoughts), and think about the good people who bless us daily in work and personal life. Negative people thoughts can really drag us down if we let them.
