Spring Cleaning Can Morph into Major Renovations
One of the challenges for arch is to go back into our blog archives and do some cleaning on our older works. As I have been blogging since 2008 and have almost 3,000 blog posts, that can become an overwhelming task. I do recall some of my first works are probably left alone so they can dissolve into Internet purgatory. There were some early posts, particularly those involving Local neighborhoods that deserved some tweaking.
What had happened over the years was a loss of formatting. This is an issue with many new posts as well. It didn't take very long to improve the formatting since I had recently read a blog post on how it can be done and then all I needed to do is to recent some of the bold face to satisfy the Google spiders and confirm the links. What I do recognize is that it will take time to get through what I would consider decent and relevant posts.
If I really get into the job, it will take more than a month to get through my library as it took a couple of hours to get through 6. I did find some bog posts that brought a smile as they were about the Rain Camps that I attended, something that is talked about but may never happen again.
I am not ready for major renovations but some semi heavy spring cleaning that may well run into summer is in order.
