The sign of a librarian with a great sense of humour.
Still waters run deep. And those poor librarians have to be quiet and polite. Their creative tendencies squashed.
So on April fool's day, they let their "funny" out for a little exercise, for a run around the block.
They take it on a half marathon, and let their imaginations run amuk.

C'mon, they might have made you laugh out loud in a location that 'outloud' is not recommended.
It might have earned you a stern look, and a quiet "Shhhhhhh" from the librarian, while noticing a slight smirk on her lips.
Don't forget. Librarians are people, too.
