Spring 'Home Staging' Tips

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with THE TEMPLE TEAM

Spring has SPRUNG and it's time to spruce up the house Inside AND Outside!

  • Switch out vase fillers that have acorns, pinecones, birch, etc.. for more summer items such as sand, seashells, starfish, sand dollars
  • Replace any silk flowers for more summer ones like Sunflower and Black Eyed Susans, Pussy Willow, Dogwoods, etc...
  • Change out your "throw pillows" for more lighter, brighter and floral colors, prints and patterns
  • Change out Blankets and Throws for lighter more airy summer versions and put the heavier, thicker and bulkier ones in storage
  • If you have an outdoor living area, make sure it's in tip top shave and even set with outdoor dishes and placemats for a nice effect for showing your home
  • If you have small children, make sure all of the toys are kept neatly and the yard and inside is tidy without toys, bikes, balls, skateboards, etc... strewn around
  • As always with any season, keep everything clean, sparkling tidy and ready for a showing at a moments notice because sometimes that's all of the warning you will get!
