Thanks for tuning in today. I'm going to do a little update on LOIS in general, and then I'm going to get into another safety presentation. Last week I did tips for online daters. Today I'm going to do tips for realtors. Updates on LOIS, I'm going to hit the road. I'm going to go out there and start meeting with boards all across the country, and try to develop some strategic partnerships, so we can get this product out there. That will lead me to a lot of different areas of Florida, probably Texas, and also California. Stay tuned. I will probably be somewhere in your neck of the woods, at some point, if you live in any of those areas. I might be filming from those areas, too.

Today we're going to talk about safety, as we usually do, and realtor safety tips are really important. As I've always said, realtors are a really preyed upon group, and I have been in real estate for 14 years. I am focusing primarily on software, but I am still a licensed broker in the state of Florida, and I'm also licensed in the state of Michigan as well. There are some tips that I'd like to share with you to stay safe while you're out there showing homes, meeting clients, so on and so forth. Some of these you may have heard already from tour broker, but I'm going to reiterate.

Top tips for realtors would be ... The first tip is make sure you know who you're meeting and that you have their information, and perhaps even have them meet you at the office before you go on a showing. A lot of people, they get a call, they're really excited, somebody wants to see a house, and of course that's how you make your money in real estate. You need to sell property, so a lot of people just kind of get in their car, and they go. They really just want to make that sale. Well, to take a little precaution, have them come to your office. Qualify that person, and make sure that you feel comfortable with them, before you meet them somewhere.

Another tip would be to get their driver's license. Somebody who's looking to do something to you, that maybe isn't that great, would maybe be reluctant to give you their driver's license. While you're in that office qualifying this person, ask for a copy of the driver's license. Tell them it's standard procedure. Somebody who's legit is not going to have any problem with this. Another tip would be to bring another realtor with you. Now, this isn't always that feasible. Everybody's busy. Everybody has things that they're doing, but it really can help, especially if you're a newbie, or if you're working with somebody that you just don't know.

Ask somebody in your office to accompany you, to go with you, and to make sure that you feel comfortable with this person. Once you develop a rapport with them, and you start feeling comfortable with them, then you can meet them on your own. It's always good to have someone with you. Another tip would be to let your broker know that you're going to the house with this person and when you're going to be there. Of course, this isn't always ... Like I said, it's not always feasible to have someone go with you, so this would be sort of the next best thing, is to have someone actually know where you're at, and they can check up on you, much like the LOIS system would do for you.

Anyway, those are my safety tips for the day. Thanks for tuning in, and listening to the little LOIS update. Great safety tips, not always feasible. When in doubt, go with your gut.
