Best Home Services has completed their “Spring Cleaning” campaign resulting in the collection of more than 1,700 pounds of non-perishable food items and household goods from customers, vendors, employees and other partners for donation to Midwest Food Bank in Fort Myers. In addition, Best Home Services presented a matching cash donation of $1,700.
Chadd Hodges, co-owner, Best Home Services, said “This is an important time of year for our local food banks that face a decline in donations combined with an increase in demand due to school summer vacation. Our Spring Cleaning campaign was timed to encourage our seasonal residents to donate some of their pantry items as they made their preparations to depart for the summer.”
Jane Williams, Executive Director Midwest Food Bank, Florida Division said, “Midwest Food Bank appreciates partnering with all local agencies especially Best Home Services. We could not provide the services we do without community support.”
In December 2016 Best Home Services collected more than 1,500 pounds of donations for Midwest Food Bank.
