Fireworks restrictions

Depending upon weather, there may be some restrictions with regards to fireworks.  You can help prevent wildfires!

The summer monsoon might make its traditional attempt to disrupt local fireworks shows on July 4th. Check the weather for the Fourth of July.

In Pima County, there is a ban is on the use of permissible consumer fireworks.

The City of Tucson has a similar ban.

Although Pima County and the city of Tucson cannot ban the sale of fireworks, the USE is regulated!!!

Violating the ban can be a Class 3 misdemeanor offense in Pima County. In conjunction with the ban on the use of personal fireworks, there are fire restrictions throughout the state parks and forests, including the Coronado National Forest.
