Festivals are a part of what just says "Summer" in southeastern Wisconsin...taking advantage of the beauty and recreation that our location on Lake Michigan provides residents...and many welcome visitors..and the South Shore Frolics have been a part of them as long as I can remember as a lifelong resident of southeastern Wisconsin. This year will mark 68 years for this summer celebration and is currently sponsored by the Bay View Lions Club. The park borders the beach and everything that says summer fun from music to kids games and an art and classic car show is there to enjoy.
This celebration would never be complete without the signature fireworks display that are more memorable every year. They can be seen each night of the festival.
Start the weekend with a traditional Milwaukee fish fry on Friday...stroll the grounds...splash on the beach...enjoy the weather !
