Thinking in terms of money comes easy and almost naturally for most people. There are always prices 
next to the things we want, whether it be food, clothing, entertainment, or a vacation. Anywhere you look, you'll often find a price tag somewhere nearby. Yet, even when you're giving cash in exchange for some sort of goods, you aren't just spending your money... you're also spending your time. Time & Money are two very different things. Not having money doesn't mean you don't have any time left, however if you have no time left then money isn't really going to be a concern!
I love taking vacations with my family, especially now that both of my kids are adults and have very different schedules. If there is an opportunity to do something with them that we all will love, as well as enjoy, then you bet I will spend money to make it happen! That way we all get to spend some LIFE together, which not only lead to making memories to reflect on, but also helps our emotions be at ease. It's important to get some joy out of life, even if it means spending money.
