Fhoto Friday - You Guessed it - My Sweet Charlotte (again)!

 

We are so lucky to have one of those cats that loves people - I've said for years that I believe that Charlotte thinks she's a dog - that can jump really high and dominate a household better than any alpha male K-9 ever could!

 

Pure sweetness!

The only time that she hides is when the housekeepers are here on Fridays and she does not like the vacuum cleaner (much like our dogs)! However, the rest of the time, she's either on my desk with me, on Ray's table when he's reading the newspaper or on her bar stool cushion; in the think of whatever is going on is where you'll find Charlotte!

And, just like a baby, she's oh-so-sweet when she's sleeping!

Ahhh...thanks for sharing Debe.  I miss my kitties.  So I appreciate you sharing your pics to bring fond memories up for me.

Mittens passed at 21. She lived a healthy life until around 3-4 months before. She could also jump high. We had an 8 ft TV cabinet and I would find her on top of it. I never could understand how she got up there until I watch her jump up there. I scared her and she fell behind the huge cabinet. It took us a half hour to get her out! 

Thank you again for the memories....

Nice to see togetherness in cats and people with them. I once had a cat that scarted everyone but my mother and that is becasue she always brought tuna.

It's funny that you mention the vacuum cleaner.  I have two cats.  One doesn't mind the vacuum, the other runs the minute I take it out of the closet.

Oh, I love that white accent, don't you, Sally K. & David L. Hanson?! And, as soon as that vacuum cleaner comes out, she's gone - we don't even see her leave, she's gone so quickly!

My mother had the cat that I had at home when I was growing up, until she was 24 - and that cat was healthy until a few months before she died, Sheri Sperry - MCNE®! I didn't even live at home at the time but, felt like I had lost my best little fur baby and couldn't live every again without my own kitty. 

I had to laugh out loud at the 8' TV cabinet story - I haven't had Charlotte get stuck behind any furniture but, could imagine that it would take awhile to get her out from behind something that large!
