The fall season officially arrives this coming week... and Charlotteans can begin celebrating the season with three great festivals, including:

MECKTOBERFEST AT THE OLDE MECKLENBURG BREWERY, BIERGARTEN, & BRAUHAUS

An authentic Oktoberfest experience with lots of beer, German bands, dancing and singing!

When: September 22nd - September 24th

Time: 11:00 am till 10:00 pm

Admission: Free

Friday:
3:00 - 6:00 pm – Mountain Top Polka (German band)
7:00 -10:00 pm – Holzhackern Tyrolean Band (German band)

Saturday:
11:00 am - 6:00 pm – Local acts
7:00 pm -10:00 pm – Holzhackern Tyrolean Band (German band)

Sunday:
11:00 am -2:00 pm – Mountain Top Polka (German band)

CHARLOTTE CIDER FEST

Spend an evening sipping your way through samples of ciders and learning about cider mixology at the 4th Annual Charlotte Cider Fest.

When: Friday, October 6th

Time: 6:30 pm till 9:00 pm

FESTIVAL IN THE PARK IN FREEDOM PARK

2017 marks the 53rd annual Festival In The Park in Charlotte's Freedom Park. Featuring The Artist's Lake Walk, the three-day, family-friendly festival attracts close to 100,000 people each year. Initially created to stimulate interest in the arts, the festival brings some 150 artists and crafters together to demonstrate and display and sell their work. Kids can enjoy face painting, magic shows and more, and everyone can enjoy tasty food, big band music.

Saturday: 10:00 am – 9:30 pm
Sunday: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm

The festivities sound like so much fun! Event like this were very common in Chicago. I miss not having them here in my area of Texas. This is a good opportunity for locals to have a lot of fun and invite family and friends.
