On Saturday, October 21, 2017, at 3:00 p.m., Los Serenos de Point Vincente will be taking hikers on a docent led tour through the switchback trails of Trump National Golf Course down to the beach. This moderate Ocean Trails Nature Hike is a great opportunity for Palos Verdes homes owners to learn more about the local geology and see the Fall blooms while walking through the mature coastal sage scrub. You will be able to enjoy the ocean views along the bluffs while you walk down to the rocky beach. After the hike, you will return to Founders Park where you can stay and watch the sunset from the park. Founders Park was formally accepted by the city on January 17, 2006, and was named in honor of the city’s founders who led the effort to incorporate the City of Rancho Palos Verdes in 1973. This five acre parcel is adjacent to the Trump National Clubhouse and offers breath-taking ocean views, picnic tables, a gazebo and nearby restrooms.
