Beer Selection: Narwhal Imperial Stout from Sierra Nevada

 

Chef Dolores selected Narwhal Imperial Stout from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company for our happy hour at home beer. If you enjoy dark beers, this is one that you should try. Drink responsibly because this is a strong beer. Alc. by Vol. 10.2%.

 

"Narwhal Imperial Stout is inspired by the mysterious creature that thrives in the deepest fathoms of the frigid Arctic Ocean. Featuring incredible depth of malt flavor, rich with notes of espresso, baker’s cocoa, roasted grain and a light hint of smoke, Narwhal is a massive malt-forward monster. Aggressive but refined with a velvety smooth body and decadent finish, Narwhal will age in the bottle for years to come."

I tend to gravitate toward the dark stout beers, like the one you feature in this post.  I haven't tried this particular one, however.

Loose Leaf Collection Underwayleaf
Fall loose leaf collection is now underway for single family and townhouse owners. Place your leaves at the street curb by 7 a.m. on your regular recycling day. Note that leaves placed in alleys or mews will not be collected. The weekly collection continues through the last week of December, weather permitting. Any time during the year you can bag your leaves in biodegradable brown bags and leave them curbside with your other recyclables.
