5 Killer Free Internet Tools For Realtors!

By
Real Estate Agent with Sterling Fine Properties

If you would like to be more efficient with your time online, especially when it comes to marketing yourself...I suggest these free tools will help greatly.

I will give you a short explanation of each and then you can go check them out for yourself...

1 - Inbox By Gmail - Don't fight this one. Google dominates the search world and how you will be found. By having a Gmail or Google+ account you get access to all sorts of other free tools such as Google My Business, Google Calendar, YouTube Channel, Google Drive, Google Hangouts, and so muchmore.

2 - Evernote - I think this is the greatest app on the internet. You never again have to remember anything you see online including emails, websites, and articles etc. It seamlessly allows you to "clip" everything into Evernote and as the name says, saves it forever or as long as you want. It handles big files so you can put anything in Evernote to do with your clients, or just about anything you see on the web that might help your business. They call it your "second brain". It syncs all your devices so you have it everywhere... Evernote

3 - Skype - Call anyone in the world for free. They only need to download Skype also. Works on your computer and your phone. Seeing the other person on video, sharing your screen, and even conference calls are all free. Great for use in the USA but also around the world. I have been using it while visiting Thailand. On top of it all, it is usually crystal clear... Skype

4 - Hootsuite - Post to several social media channels all at once. Schedule posts out as far as you want. Watch everything that is going on in any of your social medial streams all in one place. You can also add a bunch of apps and follow your activities. I use this to post Luxury Home photos to 3 different places at once, and most of the time I schedule an entire week in advance. Saves a bunch of time... Hootsuite

5 - Canva - Create any marketing piece you want for any social media platform with beautiful text and graphics. Very easy to use once you get the hang of it. The graphic I will use down below here will have been created in Canva. You can pretty much customize in any way, any of your marketing, including real estate flyers. They have a stand alone section for Real Estate... Canva

Thanks for sharing: I use skype to leave messages to people who can't seem to get off phone quickly or raise my blood pressure up while they are on the phone or argue constantly

I've used Evernote and Skype for a long time. It will take a lot to get me to use google mail. I've always managed my email through Outlook and just see no reason to change.

I do believe that we have to embrace technologies since they are there not to replace us, but to enhance what we do. We just need to be very selective with those we choose to use.

I use all of those you mentioned, and especially like Canva for creating my social media posts.
