New logo...Your thoughts

What do you think of our new logo?  The photo in the middle is a painting on a building in the downtown area of Clarksville.  It features several buildings that are noteworthy in the Clarksville area.  We thought this might add some local flavor to the logo.  What do you think?

Hey Deb,

I like the logo and am always the advocate for the loca flare.   I like the classy look.  The dark phone number over the dark corner of the picture, depending on the media,  could be difficult to read.   Best of luck and have a great week.

I like the oval concept, but I not sure about the angle. I can't read the black text inside the oval. I really like the pic.

I like the overall look and feel but text could be enhanced slightly to become more visible.  It currently is blending in a bit and if used in a smaller size format may be a bit hard to read.

Brand it with a little town name insert too.  You are pushing the benefits of your local area and you are the beat the drum local expert on the area! Good logo!

From a graphic arts standpoint, it has a few problems.

Have you tested it in different sizes?  The painting is dark and in a smaller size may look muddy and indistinct.  An ideal logo has enough contrast so it will reproduce well in either black & white or color.

Script fonts are difficult to read, especially if a logo is reduced in size.  The fine lines in "Deb" will drop out when the logo is made smaller.

Deb's phone number is difficult to read.  Even with the white shadow around the last five numerals, the numbers are going to be tough for many to discern.

The word "Realtors" is essentially invisible.

Deb: I like the concept. Maybe change Realtors to a different color and maybe move the phone numbers. Just my 2 cents.
