Help! Need Agents, Buyers Who've Bid in Pulte Homes Online

Who do you know who knows an agent or buyer who's participated in Pulte Homes online bidding process for buying one of their new homes?
I'm doing research for a dear client and this "online bid process" for buying a new-built, or new-to-be-built, home is new to me and my client.
The Pulte Homes rep at the Onyx project in San Jose, Calif. said they've been doing the online bid process for about 5 months. She said (of course), all of the homes sell above their asking price-but that none in this development have closed yet so there is no sold price data to refer to. They don't post to MLS either.
Do all the bids show up to all bidders or is it blind? E.g. you only know your own bid. Do buyers find the process easy...fair...preferable to standard practice?
I welcome anyone who's participated in Pulte Homes, or other home builders', online bid process.
