Kelly Bundy knew the "secret" before it was popular.
At the age of, let's say 15 (as I am not sure) I was watching Married With Children and Kelly give advice to Bud on dating. Kelly's advice to Bud was believe your good looking and others will believe you are good looking as well.
This advice works for everything in life.
I adopted Kelly's advice and am pleased to say, it served me well in my youth for dating. Moreover, it has continued to serve me in almost every aspect of my life. The truth is, when you believe anything, you project that belief on to strangers. If you believe you are the smartest person in the room, act as if you are the smartest person in the room and don't do anything to make yourself look stupid, odds are, when you leave the room people will recall you being smart.
If you want to be thought of as being the best, you had better believe it yourself.
While the character Kelly Bundy was conceited and thought only of her looks, he advice is solid and can be applied to all aspects of life. If you do not believe in what you are doing, no one can believe in you. In the industry of real estate it is extremely important to display confidence in what you are doing, failure to do so, well is just failure!
