Gardenia is Blooming Like Crazy

 Gardenia in Bloom in Florida

This beautiful gardenia tree suffered some damage during Hurricane Irma last year, so I wasn't quite sure how it was going to do this year. I purposely did not do any trimming after the hurricane, wanting to see what would happen this spring. The branches have spread out and it looks more like a hedge, and as you can see the tree may need some pruning after it is done flowering.

But after all it all, the blooms are amazing, and the fragrance is filling up my backyard.

It is truly a beautiful sight and smell...

Joyce,

I have a little tree gardenia blooming by the entrance to the garden.  It has two blooms so far and I love the scent that comes in to our place everytime I open the door.  A
