How do Mexicans look for real estate online?
Around the world there are 7.5 billion inhabitants and 47% have access to the internet: 81% of the population of developed countries and 40% of developing nations.
Mariano Balcarce, director of business development at Vivanuncios, explained that this site has a 12% reach of the entire population that uses the Internet in Mexico, which amounts to 65 million people.

In addition, Balcarce indicated that, of the 50 million online searches for properties nationwide, 60% are from homes or apartments for rent and 40% of properties for sale.
Those looking to rent vary between 25 and 34 years of age; while the potential buyers of housing go from 35 to 44 years old. Women lead the search for houses or apartments for sale (with 55%) and the percentage is equal between men and women who want to rent a home.
