Happy 4th of July 2018 to all my ActiveRain friends. Tomorrow my wife and I will be enjoying and celebrating the 4th of July with my oldest son, his wife Ashley, and my gorgeous granddaughter Elizabeth.
The day will start out with a cookout, followed by some fun and games, and then ending with watching a great display of fireworks. This is the first time I will get to see my granddaughter's face as she watches the fireworks. I will enjoy the fireworks, but the look on her face will be brighter than all of the fireworks put together.
I hope the weather is kind where you are, and everyone one is able to spend tomorrow not only celebrating our Independence, but also doing what you truly enjoy doing on this day of celebration. Hopefully you will also have the opportunity to say thank you to someone who has served our country and helped to preserve the freedom we enjoy.
It is OK to spend time partying tomorrow, but do it in a safe way. We want the 4th of July to be a day of celebration, and not a day of regrets.
