I was reading a post by Bob Crane (actually re-blogged by Roy Kelley) entitled “The Power of the Abundance Mentality” and it struck a chord! I recently had a transaction with an agent from another company and there were a few mishaps (nothing major) but I appreciated they were acknowledged and addressed immediately, no excuses..just handled.
A week before closing the lender who didn’t seem to know what they were doing was putting the close date in jeopardy. We had an extended closing of 55 days so not having enough time to process the loan was clearly not the issue.
The agent and his assistant jumped in with both feet even bending the ear of the employer to help apply pressure (this lender had done several loans for their top executives). Every day I was kept updated (even though patience was wearing thin) and they made it happen! We operated from a Mentality of Abundance, stayed calm, had faith in the system and worked it until it came together!
Closing day happened on time and all parties were happy. I love my peers…..feeling appreciated!
