The only way to make a change is to take action, do something different or simply act with integrity and kindness. There are things that happen that are beyond our control but the daily struggles are generally fixable if we act with passion and purpose.

History has taught us that injustice and tragedies happen and happen again only when good people stay silent and do nothing. So I believe there is always something we can and should do to be the good we want to see. Whether personally, professionally or most important of all, morally........do something. And my friends, is my thought for today.

I have my threshhold. I will let most things roll off, like water on a duck's back, but there comes a time when I can't keep quiet and then kindness goes right out the door, replaced by directness, and they can take that anyway they want.

Hi Sheila: great thought for the day--and for many more too! I am of the firm belief that if we effort to be "good", to do good things and treat our fellow man as we would like to be treated then we have conqured half the problems of this world! Pure intention is the miraculous mixture of love and empathy and that, to me, is the thought that I carry with me at all times...I ask myself: "what is your intention?" when confronted with a challenge of any kind and it seems to work.  Once I get the intention down, everything else falls into place. great post--Thanks for sharing your thinking...
