When I first began my Real Estate career 25 year ago I was told don't ever go to your closings because if there is a short fall they always want to grab the money from the realtors commissions for the difference. I didn't do that and I go to all my closings because I don't lie to my clients so there is never a problem. Everything is prepared in advance and I personally speak with title and closing agents just to make sure.
