Free NASA E-Book for National Aviation Day August 19, 2018

Since 1939, August 19 has been celebrated annually as National Aviation Day. Franklin D. Roosevelt made a presidential proclamation to celebrate National Aviation Day on August 19, which is the birth date of civil aviation pioneer Orville Wright.
NASA states that National Aviation Day is the "biggest day in flight" each year. As part of the celebration, NASA offers a free downloadable e-book "High Flyers Alphabet Activity Book " designed for children in grades K-2.
Local libraries have additional free, downloadable aeronautics e-books from NASA. Use this NASA e-books link for free downloads, check the library's electronic resources or ask a librarian for assistance to find and download them.
