I still couldn't think of an appropriate title ...

I will think of a title to this little post before I finish it.

This should be prefaced that I'm an immature young lad.  If I had stuck to my guns, I would of ended any commentary from little old me on this whole fiasco long ago.  I said I would, I didn't ... and this very post proves I have not.

Here I am.  I get passionate about stuff, it is both a killer and a cure at times.  And now, it's election time so everyone gets in a huff for what they feel and believe is right for our Country, this World.  I'm going to end my thoughts on what many of you folks now label as 'Lemmingsgate' right now and move on to the other stuff in a second.

The whole thing with Mr. Burress is tragic, it really is.  It's tragic that he WAS warned of inflammatory behavior (on at least one documented incident I know of) and continued to do so.  It's tragic that while I don't agree with Bill on most subjects, that I won't have the opportunity to apply civil discourse with him on this forum again.  It's tragic that AR has to spend more time addressing this, than its very purpose to begin with.  It's tragic that this whole petty mess has us concentrated more on one person than it does on helping out the Profession we are all involved in ... or at least I think we are still practicing, Real Estate

I visited Bill's Blog (his personal one) this evening and from what I gathered and read, it contained nothing but Real Estate.  He seems pretty educated and experienced on such matters and I'm pretty sure is a competent individual in such matters.  I saw nothing 'Political' on there ... just Real Estate.  I'll be one of the first to champion the person behind the professional but I do wonder why AR wasn't used the same way by Bill.  Being a Real Estate Network, it seemed that Bill had his 'Agenda.'   Actually, that's not my business.  Bill could use this forum for anything he wanted too, and this forum and the creators could in turn, do what they deem right for the the Community as a whole.

Listen up, with two ears preferably! I don't care what Religion you are!  I don't care what Political Party you endorse or abhor!!  We share one commonality that I'll prove to you and me in a second, we are human.  I don't care about nothing else than that right now.  I can agree with you or you with me all day long, we can disagree as well ... in either case I sure hope we are wise enough to know none of us have the answers ... not yet at least.

Election time is rearing its head close to us all here in the 'States' and whether you are for Barack, John, Hillary, Ron Paul, Jesse Ventura, Mickey Mouse, Gus Hall or whomever ... we've got to make this work and that's up to us.  Point blank, I don't like the current administration.  I don't like Politicians ... but I will sit and reflect and try to respect that they are like me and you.  Call me whatever label is 'sexy' for the day, but we are in this gig together ... I am pretty sure of that.

For the record, I like this group.  It helps to give 'Balls' & 'Passion' where it often times lacks.  Just please tell me we can ALL  be more enlightened than all of this ...

....and all of us can be enlightened.

Ted - I've saw your very intelligent view on this and can appreciate your perspective.  As far as Bill's content being lost, I thought I read somewhere that AR was willing to send him all of his content ... maybe I'm wrong on that one.  I'm done (finally) on this particular issue.  AR made their decision, I respect and stand by it.  But I'll still be around for some civil & hopefully intelligent discourse going forward:-)

Mike - If one thing good has came from this for me, I've become familiar with you.  We may or may not agree on things, that's of no matter.  I think you are a pretty sharp guy and will be on the look-out for your contributions.  As far as me being 'sexy' ... apparently you never saw me in a leopard print speedo;-)

Nicholas - I'm one for not trying to deflect or misdirect the scope of things, at least I try not too.  Bill will continue without AR and vice versa.  In the end, I hope all of us can move forward to help this industry ... and this world.

Jennifer - Shockingly, we are in agreement on this;-)  FWA!

Mike - Thank you Sir!

I personally enjoy the non-civilized discussion sometimes. It adds excitement to life. Good way to make new friends too.

Sandra, you are right and yes I am.

Jason, I think the best thing anyone could do is to let the Bill subject die down on all sides. If AR wants to let him back in they will on their own time. If they want to keep him out then he can find another place to meet with his friends. I know you and your friends don't like me, which is humerous, since in the real world most people do like me, but se la vie. That is the electronic world for you. Words can be taken out of context, people can't see the expression on your face when you type something to know what you really mean with your words. It's an internet handicap that we all deal with. Some people choose to straighten those issues out and clarify their meaning and others attack. It's human nature. In some ways the internet brings people closer and in others it divides them more.

Kevin - I suppose you have a point there as well.

Mike - Lol, sorry about that.  That's your 'wonderful visual' for the day.

Cheri' - I agree with you ... letting it die down on all sides.

I don't think I said for one moment I didn't like you and I'm sorry if I've given that impression in any way.  Quite frankly, I don't know you at all.  I was taken back that you thought my one comment addressed a post of yours specifically, I assure you it did not.  In fact, I didn't even read your post until I read your comment.  Then I went to your blog to see what you speaking about.  No hard feelings at all, your assessment of the electronic world is so very true.  Forums such as this are still kind of a new thing to a lot of people and with that, it has its learning curves.  Thank you for a very astute comment, you summed it up very nicely.

Hey let me tell you a story, I've been doing yahoo groups for about 8 years now. I had joined a Christian women's group. I thought, great, other women I can talk to about family, faith, etc. Well one day I was posting a comment to someone talking about their health. I told her I had had 6 kids. I told her I was still in good shape. Better shape than some women who've only had one or two and that I did so by staying active and doing pilates and yoga. MANNNNNN did I get attacked! They latched on to that yoga comment like I had just said I was Hitler! They said Christians don't do yoga. Christians avoid yoga. Blah blah blah. I was shocked. I was like...what the heck is wrong with yoga! One woman explained to me that I was worshipping budha by doing yoga. I was like....what!!!!!!! In no way shape or form am I worshipping anyone! She said I was chanting to a god. I was like chanting...what chanting? I do these moves, stretches, breathing and there's music. What chanting are you talking about! All of these women just started verbally attacking me.

That was the straw that broke the camels back. I had offered to send them each a copy of the tape to show them how it wasn't anything like what they thought. They weren't interested. I'd already been attacked a week before when one of the women confessed her husband had left her and 4 kids in the house and moved in with his girlfriend. She was alone with no money and hadn't ever worked. I told her to get a lawyer. He wasn't giving them a dime. Her and the kids were desperate. They said that telling her to get a lawyer was not Christian. To which I replied that letting them starve and live on the streets wasn't very christian of her husband either. They said i should have told her to pray for her husband to come back to them. I told them I would pray that she doesn't listen to them and that she gets a backbone and gets a lawyer to make the husband do the right thing before the kids starve to death! NEedless to say, I left that group!

Talk about learning curves! I think I stumbled into a group that year of aliens! lol.

My point was that it seems like no matter what group you go to....people will disagree even if you agree on the surface points. It's ok though. For the record...I tell my husband he's a chauvanist too. lol.

Cheri...There is nothing wrong with healthy discussions, and it is always fine to agree to disagree. What brings us together is the listening to each others stories and the finding of common ground. Enjoyed your story.

Cheri - I had to eread you comment, for a minute I was afraid those women had something against Yogi & Booboo! Do these women also counsel each other against taking their children to doctors?

Jason - how about "The Post With No Name"? Oh wait, there already is a group with that title. They might have copyrighted it or trademarked it or something. Back to the drawing board.

Kevin, I don't remember the name of the group. I found them on yahoo groups a few years ago. If there was a way to check my group history I could locate them but I don't think there is anything like that.

Mike, I don't remember them having an issue with doctors. I was only on there a month or so before I realized I did not fit in their group.

They didn't like aerobics either but that was because of the outfits they've seen women wear while doing aerobics. I told them I did aerobics at home and they were ok with that. Just not the yoga because they were picturing Dharma and Greg.

Mike - I think I know the founder of that group, a local Title Guy in my area.  The guy is a riot!

Cheri' - So let me get this straight ... Aerobics = OK / Yoga = Evil?  I think I get it:-)
