I am Tony Lewis and was born in Detroit , Michigan in 1950. It was a different time. I learned first hand about white flight as all of the white family's that could, m moved to the suburbs. We ended up in Grosse Pointe Woods Michigan. Ive always been a prideful person. I'm proud of my city, state, family, school, religion and fairness to others. Philosophy and sharing of opinions are my driving force in life. The biggest challenge in my life has been always trying to fair to all sides. Most people think that this is a great attribute as do I but the problems is that people only care about the part in which you disagree with their opinion so everyone dislikes you for your beliefs at one time or another. People love to be with people that agree with them all or most of the time and don't ever strongly disagree. I was in the Army and left with a disability. My disability left me hospitalized for most parts of ten years. I was discharged in 1970. I moved to California and ended up with a retail market. The business lasted for twenty years at which I became a Realtor. I am one of the few people that had two careers and loved both of the to no end. I met my wife of forty-one years in 1975 and married in 1977. She has made my life worth living. The most important attribute of a goo marriage that I learned to to marry your best friend and never let anyone else get involved in your marriage. We have two wonderful, loving and educated daughters. Both of them have been raised to be independent and to express themselves. We also have three granddaughters and one grandson as well as a step granddaughter. It is a blessing that we all live with twenty minutes of each other. One of the most meaningful things that I try to live by is "judge not lest ye be judged". I am sixty-seven years old and know that I'm much closer to the end of my life than the beginning. I want to love a long and healthy life and don't ever to suffer or live like a vegetable. I love football and have become an avid Los Angeles Chargers fan. I play tennis three times a week and workout with my wife every Wednesday. The one cause that breaks my heart is teen suicide. I often thank that if a person could have just made it past that moment they may have has just as fulfilling of a life as I have. There you have it, my life in nutshell.
