Why me? I always turn the half empty glass to half full. When trouble or crisis comes my way, I always use this phrase, "well my family is living, and we are healthy for the most part, so get over it". Then, I release those negative vibes and keep it moving. I have great friends that makes me smile and my heart warm; I think about the jokes, the crazy moments, the conversations, and know that they always have my back. I am grateful for those priceless relationships that I have with my friends. I am grateful that I have the courage to face the world no matter what the situation. I use these two scriptures: Count it all joy and all things work together for my good. When I look back and reflect that two of my best friends died at the age of 28 and 36 years old and I am still here. No complaining for me. More important, I am grateful that I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior and know without a shadow of doubt that he is always with me. With that being said, I never use the phrase why me...Why not me! I am grateful that he chose me to wear my shoes. They fit perfect and I walk well in them.
I have purposed in my heart to do more things so I can create more memories. It helps one realize that life is no rehearsal, so always learn to live, love and laugh on this journey call life.
Ps. This is my special time of the year and I love to reflect so I am grateful that I chose the challenge on expressing the things that I am grateful for. As I reflect on the ten posts that I wrote about, one can tell that I am grateful for my family and friends than anything.
