Franklin, Wisconsin is a southeastern suburb of Milwaukee. It has a population of 35, 620.

Colleges and Universities in the area include Marquette University, Cardinal Stritch University, Alverno College, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the Medical College of Wisconsin and Columbia College of Nursing among others.
There are year round recreational opportunities in Franklin including 173 acres of land in parkes that offer playing fields, ball diamonds, tennis and volleyball courts and park buildings.
