I have so much paper. I got rid of so much before my move to Massachusetts but I have no more space in any of my cabinets. So I ordered a good paper shredder and it arrived today. OMG, it is a lot of work. I have just filled two garbage bags with income tax returns from thee and a half years. Once I have gotten rid of the old ones, I can more the more recent ones to the box in the basement and reclaim my cabinets in my office. I am so looking forward to that.

I have reached that point in my life when I am parring down. It is both a happy and melancholy time. It certainly needs to happen and I am glad to finally have a tool that helps with this process.

Good for you, less is more in my book and I try to live as simple of a life as I can. It seems like everything can be stored electronically these days, so not a huge need for paper copies.

Sheila - shredders are good if you do it on a regular basis. If you have mounds take to a shredding place or you will be forever and end up wearing it out.
