Your Million Dollar Year Day 23 Where are you now? Constantly reassessing where you are right now in comparison to where you wanted to be or where you can be. This isn't to dissuade you, make you feel pressure for not doing what you said you would do, but to re-align yourself. The metaphor that gets used in the discussion is a pilot leaving the east coast for LA or SF on the west coast. They have the route but they need to constantly assess where they are along that route and sometimes make adjustments to correct the course. Do so often with your real estate career.
In this case, my case, I am further along in the transformation to being a better agent, a better manager, better teacher, instructor and mentor, but I am behind in the number of new listings I have brought in. I am behind on that because I am behind on my calling. Without calls to people to discuss real estate an agent is no where. No where is a place that has no future. This week, as last week I will further focus on the first priority of getting into people's homes to talk to them about their needs and wants.
And now with the new GREEN designation I have a whole collection of people to call and talk to. High Performance home house developers are a new phenomena. Many builders what to build efficient homes but don't do the little extra things that make the homes more efficient. The building envelope, the walls are integral to efficiency and as an agent you can tell visually just by going to the property while the walls are going up. If you see double studs, the builder knows what they are trying to do. There are many other indicators like the Blue wrap instead of tyvec. I love talking about this, reach out I will share ideas with you. Your Million Dollar Year Day 23 Where are you now?
