Why wouldn't someone get their home staged? Typically, the common complaint is that the home owner doesn't want to spend any more money on the house. The mantra includes they are moving, they don't have the money, they want to spend the money on the new home, etc. What the home owner doesn't know, or understand, is that home staging pays for itself, plus some! What exactly can home staging do? If the real estate agents have already gone through their "To Do" list to get the home ready for sale, everything should be good-to-go, right? Well, not exactly. While cleaning and organizing are part of the staging process, it's goes beyond that. Staging is the 'smoke and mirrors' that turn an ordinary, less than perfect room into an idealized space. The home buyers become engaged with all of the positive aspects of the room that they will not focus on the negative aspects of the space. This kind of experience makes the home buyer to visualize themselves living in the home, thus ultimately creating the opportunity for a higher offer and faster sale. If home buyers have the opportunity to focus on negative features, they will begin their mental checklist of how much it will cost to change, thus using that to get the selling price lower.
