Dishing with Dorie ~ 9/9/19

Granddaughter Hailey was in for the week-end and she came out Sunday for a visit and is coming again today for lunch! Took Geno out Friday night for date night but he fell getting into the car and was not a good situation. I made it to Handsome Hudson's first soccer match Saturday. Unfortunately I went to a colleague's funeral Saturday afternoon who passed away from cancer way too soon. Clemson made a statement against the Aggies! The Longhorns made a valiant attempt to beat LSU and I'm still proud of them!

Did you know FaceBook opened their new office in Austin and have plenty of room to grow!

Good morning, Dorie... a busy weekend, for sure, with both good and not so good in it. Hopefully the good outweighed the not so good and that Geno is doing well after his fall.

Good morning, Dorie - as I read your post and then the comment by Nina Hollander the thought that once again came to mind is that life is really about the moments we experience.  The good, the not-so-good, those happy times and some that may be filled with tears.  Many in-between that don't exactly fall neatly into place.

"...life is really about the moments we experience" and special people like you. I always enjoy your thought streams. Wish I had met you in person on the trip when I met Endre Barath, Jr. when I was in CA oh so many years ago but that leaves the opportunity for next time I am in CA - right?
BTW - I'm back into the AR circuit ...  All the best, Lynn

What a nice way for me to start the day - a quick "chat" with you! Hope Geno's recovering well. Yes, the "too soon" funerals are difficult and then, fortunately, we have the grandchildren to bring our smiles back! Lynn
