I am always taken by authenticity anywhere and with anyone. I have found that good bad or ugly authentic is something I admire. Knowing what you get is important to me and really matters in business as well. Maya Angelou once said, "when someone tells you who they are believe them." It is so important to know what to expect and get what you expected. Being real is simple. Just decide how you want to be and be that way with consistency and integrity.
Good morning Sheila Anderson - exactly. I could not agree more. You know when someone is authentic. People know what to expect and the authentic person does not live in stress.

LOVE this and totally agree with every word of it, Sheila! Funny but, I equate authenticity to truthfulness - why on earth would anyone want to have to remember who they were yesterday or what lie they told today? Who has time for that?!!

Morning Sheila.
Having met you and following you for several years, I can say with 100% certainty, you are who you project yourself to be

There's only one problem believing when a person tells you who they are. And, that's when they don't know themselves well enough to convey that accurately!

Hi Myrl. It isn't so much what someone says really it is who they really are that matters. TY Sheila
My wife reminds me of that quote all the time.

You're a sweet tater! <3
Great post for ActiveRain. Some people with egos don't even know their authenticity is tarnished.
I'm glad to know you and happy to know you have that adventurous side of you with an appreciation for diversity. Your travel post illustrate this well!
