Wordless Wednesday: A Sea of Red & Let It Rain!

Yesterday, as we were buying the rest of the items we needed for our Thanksgiving feast, we noticed near the checkout counter a sea of red poinsettias, (pictured above).  

 

On another note, we are so thankful for the 600 plus firefighters who doused the Cave Fire out in the mountains to 100% containment in two days.  Thanks to their valiant efforts, there were no casualties or structures damaged.

 

The air was laden with smoke.  Mother Nature took care off that, when the rains came at 2AM last night.  It is still raining here and we are expecting more showers on and off with sun bursts in between...and more rain tomorrow!  We are so grateful for that liquid sunshine, let it rain!

Ron and Alexandra- So glad that the brave firefighters were able to contain the fire. That has to be scary not knowing if you may have to leave your home, not to mention the impact the fires have on the whole area.
