Give Blood and Have Fun

If you are interested in helping our community by donating blood, Carlsbad Village is the place to be on Saturday, February 8th. Plus you can enjoy some shopping and dining in the Village before or after you donate.
The Third Annual Heart of the Village Blood Drive will take place from 10 am until 3 pm Once again this blood drive is being sponsored by the Carlsbad Village Association.
There is a strong need for blood in our community, and here’s your opportunity to help.
The Heart of the Village blood donations will be taken at the San Diego Blood Bank bloodmobile, in the parking lot at the Engel & Volkers office at 2965 Roosevelt Street. About 90 pints have been donated in the first 2 blood drives!
While you can just walk in and donate, it’s highly recommended that you reserve a spot online at the San Diego Blood Bank website so you don't have to wait.
Don’t forget Valentine’s Day is Friday the 14th later that week. There are plenty of shopping opportunities nearby in the Village, including at the Village Faire Shopping Center at 300 Carlsbad Village Drive.
