7 Tools Every Real Estate Agent Needs in 2020

The best apps available to real estate agents make them better at their job while making their tasks easier. From completing a to-do list of standard tasks or reacting to unexpected issues and sudden changes, apps are capable of simplifying and smoothing out the entire experience for both agents and clients.

Major investments have gone into solving the problems real estate agents face. There is no reason why any brokerage should not leverage this technology to its fullest extent. However, all of this effort and innovation creates difficulties in choosing the best app for any given situation. That is why these apps have been chosen as the 7 best in their respective categories.

1. Transaction Management Tool - Respacio

Respacio provides agencies with a multi-currency CRM solution available in a variety of languages. It manages all properties, marketing projects, contacts, transactions and websites. Respacio's CRM allows users to manage all of their contact details as well as the way in which the real estate business and its associated vendors, suppliers, buyers, collaborators and properties. Respacio includes functionality for managing pipelines, tasks, a calendar of events, documents and emails as well as giving access to the G Suite so that users can always use familiar apps alongside it.

2. Sending Documents on the Fly - DocuSign Transaction Rooms

DocuSign is one of the most widely used apps for signing and exchanging documents in many different industries. It allows agents to monitor and control their data at every stage when building a client relationship. Documents can be sent, signed and then returned within seconds on a branded platform.

3. Leveraging Real-Time Real Estate Data - AreaPulse

AreaPulse combines gathering useful data for agents with an easy presentation for clients. It allows an agent to target a specific neighbourhood and generated charts and graphs of all relevant market data which can be presented to clients. Agents are able to save hours of market research by utilising this app's branded data gathering functionality.

4. Project Management - Slack

At first, Slack seems like just another instant messaging tool. However, Slack provides much more than messaging, which it also does extremely well. Slack functions like a virtual office and team members can share files, collaborate on tasks, archive information and so much more. Custom channels can be created that automatically pull information and articles from some of the industry's best publications.

5. Improving Document Workflows - OCR Software

OCR allows agents to convert any physical document into a digital version that can then be edited. This saves a lot of time when compared to typing in order to copy relevant documents for digital use. Documents can be scanned and converted into a variety of formats such as Word, RTX, Excel and PDF. It can even convert PDF files into these other formats to make editing easier.

The best c OCR library saves a lot of time and money when compared to paying someone to copy out documents manually. An OCR library open-source solution saves on paper without any of the drawbacks of scanning documents and turning them into uneditable images or PDFs. It provides the best of both the physical and digital worlds.

6. Create Impactful Marketing - Canva

Real estate agents know how to create their own materials and Canva makes it utilising those skills easy. It is an online graphic design tool that combines millions of photos with drag-and-drop functionality, templating, a sleek user interface and loads of custom fonts allowing agents to create original and impactful designs.

7. Creating a Better Client Experience - Updater

Updater is the best way that agents can help their clients easily complete their moving tasks. Brokerages can provide their clients with this app and it will allow them to reserve a trusted moving company, transfer their Internet connection, update their address for various accounts and websites and more

Love Canva for creating marketing posts for social media.  They allow you to select the right size photo/banner/ad that works perfectly with each social media site.  I use the app on my phone all the time.

I use DocuSign exclusively for digital signatures.  Never have to track down a client to get their signature... the app is great too!  Makes my job so much easier.  Thanks for sharing the others, which I'll check out.

While not an agent (I'm a Lender) ... I so agree with your #6 tip listing, Joe McCord ... as CANVA is a tool I utilize nearly every day.  It's such a valuable tool ... and so very reasonable in price.  Something that cannot be overlooked by those in our industry.  Pricing that is attractive for beginners to seasoned marketers ...
