I have been around Active Rain a long time. I have made friends here and while I am not sure I have ever influenced anyone I do read and comment plenty. That said, I am done with those who use tiny fonts I can not easily read. I used to leave that message along with the comment but no more. I wish Active Rain would make the default font 14 points but as long as it doesn't I will no longer read any blog with small fonts. Just sayin..........
I hear ya, Sheila. I have tried leaving a friendly private message for the author to increase the font but it usually falls on deaf ears... or they don't know how. Like you, I find it difficult and tend to shy away from them.

Thank you Carol. I left kind messages for years. No more. There are enough others to read. Have a wonderful day. Sheila
Sheila,
Like you, I just pass. I have also noticed that the posts are long and cumbersome looking, as our friend Barbara Todaro says, "The eye buys!" That goes for posts too and everything else. A

I prefer size 14 font as well. I do keep a pair of reading glasses near my computer so I can read smaller font however.

Hi Myrl. I wear glasses already and 14 is it for me. If it is smaller.......no more. TY Sheila
Hopefully the less than 14 fonters will listen to you. And I have to agree with Nina Hollander that conversely those who use much larger fonts in their posts make me feel as if I'm being shouted at.

Hi Sheila:
I suspect AR is not going to change anything about the fonts. I suspect some will have listened to you but others likely not. It's like reading a wall of words which can drive you nuts and make the whole experience a negative one.

Morning Sheila.
I use 18 point font. Like you, I don't read the small font posts anymore.

Sheila, I always use 14 font but results don't always give me what I type. I try my best.

Hi again Patricia. To me 14 is a basic. I have never found it changed but I know others have. TY Sheila

Sheila Anderson - I often find that paragraph fonts change after I post to AR. It looks just fine when I go back to edit and add bold or change words; however, quite often, when I look at it again after posting, things change and it's so annoying! If I'm on a schedule, I just don't have time to make all those changes again because the changes I make create more edits and worse font changes. I really don't think there are as many careless bloggers out there who are deliberately making fonts small and we all have different computers.
The strangest thing is, comment fonts don't change but blog post fonts do.

Hi again Patricia. I don't thin anyone deliberately looks to make it hard. I do think some just don't care enough to make it easily readable to all. I find if I change the font before I write the post .......it holds. TY Sheila
I have Surface Pro and it's a few years old. Plus, I use Chrome and do the same thing you do; however, my results are not always the same.
