Psalm 7:1-2
“O Lord my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me, or they will tear me like a lion, and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me.”
We know from yesterday that David became King. But David had several events in his life before becoming King where he had to pour his heart out to the Lord for help. It’s a good reminder for us even as we are growing in faith and trust that the Spirit of the Lord lives within us that sometimes there will be appearances of evil in our life. Like this cry for God’s help sometimes things can see scary or overwhelming.
Hopefully no one is threatening you in a war like life or death situation, but I do know our old thoughts and habits can seem to attack us or pursue us like a hungry lion. The very reason you read this daily, stay in the WORD, and meditate and affirm GOODNESS, or deny the appearance of “evil” surrounding you is so you can be quickly delivered from this temporary situations. You are taking refuge in the Lord daily! It’s fine to have your prayer to be for protection and deliverance.
I AM PROTECTED AND DELIVERED FROM ANYTHING AND ANYONE WHO TRYS TO DO HARM TO GOD’S GOOD PLANS FOR ME!
